Simple pleasures…

MasterCard is right: you can buy shoes, you can buy Botox, you can  buy lipstick…but the true pleasures in life are those things that you cannot buy no matter what your credit limit is, those are PRICELESS…like the morning sun smiling down on your face on a beautiful  Saturday morning and the fragrant smell of fresh flowers in the air…

Luxury is not the achievement of these pleasures… luxury is taking the time to slow down and savor the pursuit.

What are your “simple pleasures” ?

  1. My simple pleasures are the sounds of my children getting along, being able to go to sleep when I’m tired, the sound of my daughter’s laughter, and being able to smile just thinking of someone I love.

  2. L.A. angelic! Simple pleasures: Morning coffee and the sunrise. Bach at full volume in the painting studio and a bottle of vintage cabernet souvignon.Midnight fires with kitty.

  3. This is an amazing look. I like that it’s so soft, but there’s that animal print poking out underneath the blouse. My simple pleasures are a huge mug of coffee, snuggling with my puppy (and my boyfriend too), and spending hours and hours on my drawings. Lovely post! xoxo

  4. u look soo serene!! lovely blog!

knowing and believing that the best is yet to come.. and that god is always with me in all my endeavors!!
