      It is a memorial in Armenia,Yerevan dedicated to memory of 1.5million Armenians killed by Ottoman Turks in 1915 . Every year thousands of people take a long walk to go to the memorial and show their respect .
      I am very impressed that you know about this event.It was a first genocide in the 20th century and Hitler used it as an excuse to start extermination of Polish and Jewish people, ” Who after all remembers today of the annihilation of Armenians” he said.
      The problem is that it is still not recognized worldwide and Turkish government still denies it.
