Shadow World…

“Maybe the only thing each of us can see is our own shadow…”

Carl Jung called this his shadow work. He said we never see others. Instead we see only aspects of ourselves that fall over them. Shadows. Projections. Our associations.

Is it true ?…or are we are capable of seeing each other as we are…

  1. That’s a truly deep question you pose, I think to see a person for who they are depends a lot on the person whom you look at and what that person is allowing you to see. For I have me few people in my life that are truly comfortable with themselves or who truly know themselves well enough to show other people who they truly are. Then of course you start to get into the human nature aspect of trust. So yes I believe as humans we are capable but it is rare that we can see through the veil be it our own or another’s.
